In-Flight Refuelling Hose

In-Flight Refuelling Hose
Icon designs and manufactures safety-critical in-flight refuelling hoses for military applications to help nations fulfill their global reach strategies.  Long-term development has provided a solution to problems of weight, durability and volume within the restricted confines of an aircraft. With over 30 years design and production experience, all Icon hoses comply with the requirements of DEF STAN 00-970, DEF STAN 05- 123 and MIL-H-4495D specifications, and are supplied with Icon Braidlock end couplings.
Breathing Hose

Breathing Hose
Icon hoses represent the most comprehensive range of aircraft oxygen-supply hose systems in Europe.  High, medium and low-pressure hoses are available; all are designed for nuclear, biological and chemical warfare applications and incorporate integral communications leads and special end fittings.  The Company also has the capability to provide space vehicle hoses.
Ducting

Ducting
Single and multi-branch ducting and hoses offer a flexible, lightweight alternative to conventional ducting.  Multi-branch ducts can be fitted around equipment providing airflow throughout the aircraft structure.  The added option of an integral seal eliminates the need for a separate gasket, reduces the number of stress points and the potential for failure.
Sealing

Sealing
Aircraft seals produced from silicone and polychoroprene facilitate a wide range of operating temperatures and, when combined with fabrics such as glass, cloth and polyester, performance is further enhanced.  Applications include canopy and hatch seals, aerodynamic wing fillet seals and inflatable seals.  Sealing sections are available in a range of configurations, with metal inserts for strengthening or for mounting location.

Our specialist range of radar absorbing materials are used on advanced fighter aircraft around the world.
