SILO D
Silo D. The last of its kind. The first of something new.

At the beating heart of Silvertown, Silo D sits at the centre of something significant.

After a century on the waterfront and fifty years of near-silence, Silo D is one of the last surviving concrete grain silos in England, situated in London's Royal Docklands.

Grade II listed, built in 1920, its monumental form - octagonal head house, soaring volumes, fourteen original grain chambers - remains largely intact. Neighbour to the iconic Millennium Mills. Unrenovated. Full of possibility.

 Silo D quarter

Silo D is located in Phase 1 of the Silvertown masterplan on Spillers Street, which will connect Pontoon Dock to Custom House Station in under ten minutes upon the delivery of the new pedestrian bridge. It will be delivered alongside Silo D park, which sits on the water’s edge and provides a new local playground for the Royal Docks.

Silo D sits at 11 levels high with 2 levels below ground and was built in 1920 of reinforced concrete. Each level is home to an array of machinery from Silo D’s operational days as a Grain Silo
